Although there seems to be a dispute over where
chili originated and just what it should be comprised of, there is
agreement about its popularity as one of America's favorite dishes.
In addition to providing you with a chili mix that
is quick and easy to prepare, we have responded to concerns about
fat and cholesterol content by using textured vegetable protein in
place of meat. Our mix allows you to make a zesty pot of chili in
15 minutes. Not only is it delicious, but its also hearty and nourishing.
INGRIDIENTS
Textured Vegetable Protein, Chili Powder, Masa
Flour, Onion, Salt and Spices.
DIRECTIONS
Combine the following in a pot; 1/3 cup of Vegetable
Chili Mix, 1 cup of water, 1 can of kidney beans, 1 can of stewed
tomatoes. Heat mixture until it boils. Reduce heat and allow to simmer
for 10 minutes or until desired consistency.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Try our Vegetarian Chili over rice or a baled
potato to make a complete meal.
